In 1953, a group of Christians, clergy and lay, had become much concerned. They and many others, past and present, were aware of significant experiences to which the Church appeared to have little or no effective response. They decided to do something about it.
 
So Many Witnesses is the story of what they did, and how the fellowship they formed evolved into the Churches Fellowship for Psychical and Spiritual Studies - the CFPSS.
